What Is the One Thing In Common With All Successful People?

This question is asked often and it is answered just as often.  What is it that successful people do that others don’t?  How many different answers for this one question have you seen?  I’ve seen and heard countless times people to profess they have the answer to this and the key to your abundance.  If this were actually true, then everyone who received their message would no doubt be abundant, wouldn’t they?

The problem with that is we are not all abundant in the ways we desire.  We are abundant, however, in everything that we think we deserve.  Pay close attention here and read that last sentence as many times as it takes to set in.  Do you feel that you deserve success?  If you answer yes but don’t feel successful then check your response.  Do you really feel that you deserve success?

This is what sets apart the successful people from the unsuccessful in whatever subject.  They feel that they deserve the success and they are determined to get those results.  They kept going no matter what.  Quitting on the goal is never an option.  They may quit how they were trying to get there and they may fail multiple times, but they never, ever quit.  Take Michael Jordan, for example.  He was cut from the basketball team his sophomore year in high school but this did not kill his dream.  His dream was so vivid that he made the corrections required to become the best athlete he could become.  He even quit basketball because he felt he needed to accomplish the same success in a different sport.  He realized his mistake and returned to basketball and continued to improve and win 3 more championships.

Now, back to you.  Do you feel that you deserve success the same way that Michael Jordan felt about basketball?  Dig really deep with this question.  It’s easy just to tell yourself that you deserve success, but it’s something completely different to actually feel as if you deserve it.  When you feel this, no one can tell you that you can’t have it.  It’s yours and the only one that can possibly stand in your way is you.  There is no obstacle that will stop you.  Yes, you will have to face that obstacle, and when you do you will see that it was an opportunity rather than an obstacle.  The opportunity was to clear out that part of you that didn’t think you are worthy of success.

The commonality among successful people has nothing to do with how they earned their success.  You could train the exact same way Michael Jordan did and never make it to the NBA if you don’t feel you deserve to get there.  You may be able to push through some of the obstacles, but eventually injury or age is going to get you to quit.

The obstacles that show up are always a blessing when you are looking for them.  One of the greatest blessings they can offer is to show you that it’s not your dream that you are currently chasing, but rather that of your father or mother or perhaps the influence of media.  When it is not your desire to achieve success it will be very difficult to get there and if you do trudge through, the cost will be a lot more than you thought you would have to endure.  This isn’t giving up on success, it’s simply accepting that the path you are on is not your path to success.  Let those that desire success in that way walk it and begin to walk the path that you came here to create, brick by brick.

Do this for every area of life and it’s not a matter of if you will be successful, it’s simply a matter of when.  You will feel it before you receive the results, and when you do, and this is where the journey becomes a thrill.  Each moment, every action you take, all that you experience will feel magical as if the universe has lined up everything to help you succeed.  When you reach this point, you know you deserve it.  You’ll also feel that everyone else has the same gift and wonder why they aren’t all doing it as well.  The best you can do is to receive the success you deserve and show others that they can do it too.  This, I feel, is what we came here to do.

Now, do you FEEL that you deserve success in all areas of life?
